SilverLight Line of Business applications with RIA Services and Expression Blend

Wednesday 1/13/2010
6-8 pm
Microsoft Waltham, MA Office

Guest Speaker Pat Tormey MS MVP
Foursquare Solutions Inc

In this session Pat will examine the business applications of SilverLight and several of the tools that you’ll want to know. There’ll be no dancing donkeys or spinning widgets. We’ll check out a real application, from initial design to finished product. While “almost complete” this is a work in process application and a great time to see how it all came together. What worked.. What didn’t… and a bunch of the other stuff.

Pat Tormey is a local developer, and long time user group leader currently running the New Hampshire Dot Net User Group.

Boston Geek Dinner @ Boston Beer Works: Tue 11/17

From Jason Haley:

Anyone up for a Geek dinner Nov 17th?

It’s been 3 months since the last one … so I think it’s time for another.

We’ll be upstairs by the pool tables in Boston Beer Works on Canal Street.

I know Nov 17th is the first day of the PDC … but this date is driven by events at the Garden so sorry if you are going to be at the PDC - I’ll also try to schedule one for early December (depending on events at the TD Garden of course).
