We have introduced the concept of a contributor into the Code Camp. A contributor is somebody who provides things for the Code Camp out the their goodness to help the community. A sponsor is someone who gives money or materials and expects something in return, i.e., determining content or getting special visibility. A contributor is someone who has no expectation that they will get anything in return. This helps to solve a couple of problems. One is obviously that it keeps the Code Camps free from marketing. Also, it gives the community some leeway on engaging outside people.

Code Camp Contributors

Microsoft Learning welcomes the opportunity to support Code Camps! Please give us approximately 3 weeks notice and we’ll send out selections from our current developer books to use as raffles/giveaways and we’ll also provide any additional information for developer learning resources.

Please contact Adam Jaffe with the information for your Code Camp including contact and shipping info plus the date of the event.
